A book dating back to the 1670’s, which details cures for ailments and sicknesses, is to be auctioned later this month. The book titled ‘ A Friend to the Sick, – The Englishman’s Preservation ‘, was written by William Sermon and is expected to fetch up to £500 when it is auctioned at Hansons Auctioneers on 24 October
